Back by popular demand! This is our half year-long Herbal Intensive Apprenticeship program. Class will start in February and run bi-weekly.
This is a very hands on class, and you will get to know 10 plants of your choice very intimately, among many other herbs. Students will also have opportunities to join Aurora in her lab and garden to work and study alongside an experienced herbalist! If you love herbs and want to know so much more about them, join the 2023 class!
We will still study the these subjects:
~ Overview of all of the herbs. Aurora will bombard you with a PowerPoint of at least 50 different herbs to pique your interest with lots of great and personal info about each plant. After this class you will choose the 10 herbs that you would like to intensively study.
~ Body Systems and Herbal Actions
~ Botany, ID, and Horticulture
~ Harvesting and Tools of an herbalist
~ 3 plant ID and Foraging walks
~Aromatherapy and essential oils
~Hands on making of Herbal Remedies including Tisanes, Decoctions, Infused oils, and Salves and Balms
~ Final reports and graduation party on the last day of class!
Pricing:
~ Class cost is $850 per person and is NON-REFUNDABLE. Half ($425) is required to reserve your spot, and the remainder due at/by the beginning of the first class.
~ Two books included in price of class.
